Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today." — Malcolm X
Our goal is to raise $2,500 within 1 month to install 6 solar panels and battery backup to power 4 classrooms, 6 fans, and basic LED lighting, benefiting over 120 children and 4 teachers every day.
Shapla Village School is the only learning center for over 120 children living in a remote riverside community. The school building is simple but full of dreams. Unfortunately, the area has no stable electricity — classes often stop early, children can’t study after sunset, and teachers struggle to run fans and basic lights during the hot summer months.
This project aims to install a reliable solar power system for the entire school. With solar energy, students will have lighted classrooms, fans during heatwaves, and a chance to use basic digital tools for modern lessons.
I have already spoken with a local solar company willing to provide an affordable solar panel package. I am working with our organization to raise the required funds, mobilize local volunteers to assist with installation, and ensure the system is maintained sustainably. I will provide regular updates and handle all fund usage transparently.
I’m calling on our kind donors and community members to contribute whatever they can. Even small amounts add up to power big change. We also welcome volunteers to help install the system and spread awareness about the project to attract more support.
